Other Types of Giving
Gifts and Honoraria
Outright gifts or honorarium donations that honor or memorialize individuals or organizations you specify may be made in the method you choose. Appropriate notices and recognition will be made by mail and in Coalition publications.
Workplace Giving
Your gift to LACEH&H through workplace giving ensures that the Coalition can continue fighting hunger and homelessness. Corporations often encourage employees to give to the charities of their choice. Please check with your company's Human Resource Department on the procedure to follow, especially for matching gifts. Many corporations and businesses in the Los Angeles area participate in such programs.
Securities
Significant tax benefits are available when you transfer stock certificates and other instruments to support the Coalition. Check with your tax advisor and then contact the Development Department for details and assistance.
Planned Giving
Planned giving possibilities include trusts, bequests, annuities, insurance options, and may involve property or cash. Including LACEH&H in your will is a way supporters are making a lasting gift to a work they trust and believe in. The Coalition has volunteers on call who are professional planned giving experts. If you wish, Bob Erlenbusch, Executive Director, can discuss your interest and arrange for any level of professional coordination you would like to assist you in documenting your intention to strengthen LACEH&H with a Planned Gift.
