Homeless Voter Empowerment Project
LACEH&H registers, educates and mobilizes homeless and very low-income voters through outreach at welfare offices and service providers. LACEHH registered over 5,000 homeless and low-income people for the 2004 national and the 2005 LA Mayoral elections. We offer training materials and workshops to service providers who want to increase voter participation among their clients. Our Homeless Voter Empowerment Project is in collaboration with the National Coalition for the Homeless, You Don’t Need A Home to Vote campaign and the LibertyVote! Project of the Liberty Hill Foundation.
